Brighton and Hove Golf Club is a great place to be a member. It is easy to meet people to play golf with and for those of you who enjoy competitive golf there are a number of competitions each week, most of them open to both men and women, with the Ladies’, Seniors’ and Saturday morning Untouchables’ society also running their own series of competitions.
Currently we are accepting new members on a limited basis.
There is currently no joining fee.

The 12-month membership year runs from 1st April to end-March; those joining after April pay a proportional rate.
7-Day: £1,175
7-Day membership gives playing rights for unlimited golf seven days a week.
5-Day: £1,090
5-Day membership gives playing rights for unlimited golf Monday to Friday. Any weekend golf is paid for at the normal green fee rate.
Twilight Membership: £750
Twilight membership gives playing rights for unlimited golf after 12.00pm in the winter from 1st November to 31st March and after 3pm in the summer from 1st April to 31st October. Golf at other times is paid for at the normal green fee rate.
Accessible Golf – Low Income Membership: £520

Our Women's Get Into Golf Academy is an entry-level membership package for those new to golf and with an option of a follow-on second year. This new package started 1st April 2025 and runs to end-March 2026. Click here for details.

We are keen to encourage Junior golfers and our Head Professional Brad Harris and Junior Organiser Dave Blood work closely with the Golf Foundation and also run a programme called Golf Access which is very popular with our Juniors.

We currently have three age categories of annual membership for young adults to encourage new golfers and also to keep young people playing golf beyond their years as Juniors and into full adulthood.
Some of our most promising players fall into this group, having started golf as young adults or before that as Juniors and we are keen to keep them playing. Reduced membership fees are staggered through these transitional years as follows:
18 – 21: £350
22 – 24: £520
25 – 29: £770
